New Zealand Independence day
New Zealand is an island nation in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. It consists of two main landmarks – North Island (Ti Aka-Ek-Moi) and South Island (Ti Vaiponamo) and about 600 small islands, covering an area of 268,021 square kilometers (103,500 square miles) ۔ New Zealand is about 2,000 km (1,200 miles) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and 1,000 km (600 miles) south of the islands of New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga. The country’s diverse topography, including the Southern Alps, and the development of tectonics and volcanic eruptions on steep mountain peaks are essential. The capital of New Zealand is Wellington and its most populous city is Auckland.
