Vatican Independence day

Vatican City officially the State of Vatican City (in Italian: Stato della Città del Vaticano; [g] in Latin: Status Civitatis Vaticanae), is the independent city-state of the Holy See, an enclave within Rome, Italy. The State of Vatican City, also known as The Vatican, became independent from Italy with the Lateran Treaty (1929), and is a distinct territory under “full ownership, exclusive domain and sovereign authority and jurisdiction” of the Holy See, itself a sovereign entity of international law, which maintains the temporal, diplomatic and spiritual independence of the city-state.
